The Structural Biology Laboratory at the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Gdansk and Medical University of Gdansk, Poland is looking for a doctoral student to join the OPUS 26 project, funded by the National Science Centre (Poland) entitled:

Exploring the Impact of Salmonella on the Ubiquitin-Proteasome System

A perspective candidate is:

• Is eager to learn new skills, embrace challenges, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Has some experience with laboratory techniques in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, cell biology, or structural biology. Experience in protein interaction assays, cell biology, or structural biology are highly desirable.
• Has a very good command of the English language.
• Holds MSc or MRes degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, biology, or related fields

You will be:

• Executing tasks within the research project’s scope
• Writing reports, presenting results, and preparing scientific manuscripts
• Planning your research and analyzing generated data
• Cooperating with other team members
• Actively participating in group, floor, and departmental seminars as well as scientific meetings and conferences
